Located just north of the US-12 / Centerville Rd. intersection, across from the Sturgis Airport, The Carriage Place is one of St. Joseph County’s newest banquet facilities. Owners, Mr. and Mrs. Mark and Natalie Mercer, purchased the building on July 1, 2002 which was tragically destroyed two weeks later in an electrical fire. The Carriage Place finally reopened on July 20, 2003 with a completely transformed building and new fixtures. Events such as weddings, wedding receptions, anniversaries, graduation parties, baby showers, benefit dinners, bazaars, proms, birthday, family and corporate parties, etc. are hosted at The Carriage Place.
